The goal of the presentation is to demonstrate the effectiveness of current aspects of pop culture and gaming in making connections with students, and subsequently building relationships. Added educational bonuses include being able to discover individual pathways via understanding the way your students think and creative ways to study for quizzes and tests. Examples of pop culture include: Gen Z speak ('cap' vs 'no cap', etc.), anime (i.e., One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, etc.), tv shows (i.e., Wandavision, Miraculous, etc.), TikTok, YouTube, etc. Examples of gaming include: Twitch, Discord, Spaceteam, etc. Examples of quizzes include: Gimkit, Blooket, etc.
